Q-A:DISSCUSS THE QUESTIONS.page 134
2-Mad Anthony gives reasons to support his opinion that the
throwaway society is a good thing.Do you think these are good reasons?why or
why not?
First and
formost, the throwaway society is the society that throws away a lot of unuseful things. The throwaway society is a human society strongly influenced by consumerism. The term describes a critical view of over-coonsumtion and excessive production of short-lived or disposable items.I am disagree with the reasons that given by Mad Anthony. For me it is better to save
what we have instead buy the new things.Maybe he indeed feel that the
throwaway is a good thing but there are
many disanvantages from this society. For your information, nowadays, there are many things floating around our planet.what do you think it is?pretty sure...it is a RUBBISH!This throw away society made many pollution on our beloved earth. As you know pollution is the introduction of contaminants into the natural environment that cause adverse change. He said that 'they can afford more things since they now have a lot of money.'So, does it mean they can wasting their money for buying new things that more up to date..ohh...i think its better to them to give that money to the beggars. When their things got damage or broken they just throw it away...they never try to repair it or even use it for another way. That's why our recyle campaign is hard to success...We cannot sustain our consumerist lifestyle without getting inundated by
garbage and exhausting the earth’s resources. The products that we use
are wrapped in several layers of packaging material that are perfectly
recyclable – plastic, aluminum, paper, tin, wood, etc. Solid waste
disposal experts engage in an uphill struggle to contain this virtual
avalanche of garbage we produce everyday. It is apparent that digging a
hole, a landfill, is clearly not the answer. Sooner or later, the waste
becomes uncontainable and will spill into our farming areas, forests,
and water sources. So,why don't we paly our role to save our planet by stop this throwaway-society and start recyling our things. If your things really in terrible....you can stop using it and buy the new one...just use it until it really unusefull to you.Last but not least, i hope you become more loving person in using your things and try to repair the broken things instead throw it away.
